this is roro. she is 26 years old. she was raised in miyagi prefecture and moved to tokyo in her adult years. she has no aspirations or future career plans. she's very kind, and once she gets to know someone, she tends to poke fun and bicker with the people she's closest with. she has a serious inferiority complex as her parents held high expectations over her as their youngest daughter.
one night roro finds herself in a strange dream, and meets an old friend that she never got to properly say goodbye to on good terms from school. they met in a pure white, endless wasteland. she jokingly tells him to meet her at shibuya a week from then, believing it to be just a dream. bored one day, the curiousity gets to her and she eventually makes a treck out to shibuya, just to put her mind at rest. there she sees her old best friend, mima, who randomly disappeared with no parting goodbye 8 years ago. they both scramble to explain to each other their situation, and they both eventually come to the realization that they weren't just dreaming - but they were actually physically interacting with each other in their dreams.
they both decide to go back to sleep at the same time the next morning to explore the mysterious wasteland, and they come into contact with strange, horrifying creatures that are the manifestations of people's negative thoughts and feelings, that trap them in the dream and leave their physical bodies as a mindless husk of what humanity they once had.
their old friend group from all those years ago eventually gets back together again, and end up reconciling their past regrets - along with figuring out the cause of what they later deem the phenomenon as "the collective virus" is, that whisks and traps people away in the collective conconcious.
