WHO IS THE WORST TOGAINU NO CHI CHARACTER?

who is the evilest, most irredeemable villian of togainu no chi? after much research, here are my very unbiased findings, 1 being the most morally good, and 10 being the most evil of them all.

( NOT COUNTING YUKIHITO OR TOUYA BECAUSE I DIDN'T PLAY THE PS2 VERSION )

AKIRA

he tries to keep keisuke out of danger, and realizes how much his friendship with keisuke means to him and attempts to reconcile.

he then helped keisuke with his withdrawal symptoms.

he still chooses to live with keisuke, despite what he did to him.

he helped rin heal his wound and escape toshima together despite rin's betrayal, and even chooses to fight il re for him in his place.

he protects and prevents motomi from shooting nano.

he feels remorse for takeru's death and keeps his cross with him.

akira recognizes his obsession with causing and experiencing death due to his past as a child soldier.

he doesn't forget the events of toshima, but lives on and finds a purpose for living despite it.

he accidentially kills three people because of the anti-nicole virus in his blood and has to live with the guilt and burden of being the one who took their lives.

he also almost beat that one guy to death.

had to live through the ass screwdriver incident, living with shiki, and being locked up in arbitro's basement.

he also gets a real job in keisuke's good ending!

and he is wonderful and funny..

KEISUKE

keisuke is respectful to kind to those around him when not on rein.

he followed akira to toshima against his will, and joined igra impulsively for akira's sake.

he joined igra and became a rein addict in order to become strong enough to protect akira and feel adequate enough to stand alongside him.

all of keisuke's actions were generally intended to be for akira's benefit (while not on rein).

he dies in every other route than his own and got beaten up 10 minutes into the game (i miss him..)

he also remembered akira's favorite solid flavor!

he killed takeru among at least 10 other people.

killed akira via intestinal removal (pretty bad).

also caused the ass screwdriver incident (bad.)

he also hurt akira in many other less gory ways.

but he apologized to akira for his horrid actions towards him and the people that he killed and makes an effort to change in a positive way.

he then compared him and akira to a married couple (cheeseball).

in the end, he and akira get a real job (true end)!

RIN

he has the greatest twink death ever recorded.

rin is respectful to his allies, including akira (except motomi).

he gives akira first aid, food, and drinks in exchange for his own pig tags.

although, he may have only helped akira at first because he looked like his dead crush (questionable).

either way, he encourages akira and inspires him to be positive by supporting him.

this is especially evident when he tries to find keisuke with akira, as he is the only character to go after akira and save him after he is kidnapped by keisuke.

though their relationship sours later on when rin gets into his first fight with shiki, as he becomes furious at akira for protecting him and letting shiki get away.

but he takes accountability for his actions, and he apologizes to akira for getting angry at him.

their relationship reaches a breaking point when he betrays akira and steals his tags in order to fight il re, as akira has to risk his life and fight il re in place of rin as he was wounded.

rin then goes off on a wild goose chase to find and kill shiki himself (thanks rin).

by doing this, he ends his past burdens with shiki and the guilt of his dead friends in order to move on with akira.

he also originated from bl@ster, just like akira!

overall, he's hilarious, and i love him.

MOTOMI

firstly, he is a fossil. and like rin, he doesn't have a bad ending!

he treats akira kindly and shows visible worry whenever akira is troubled, and encourages akira to confide in him.

this is shown during the interactions with him and akira at the church, when he saves akira and rin from fighting shiki by exploding the entire colosseum, and the fact that he still keeps in touch with akira in rin's ending.

motomi used to work as a lab researcher (real job!).

although, while working there, he consents for his child to be used in ethically questionable experiments (which results in his death).

but he feels intense remorse towards the death of his wife and son, and aims to kill nano in order to prevent the past from happening again (poor nano).

he is the only character who doesn't kill anyone.

he had sex in a church (that has to be blasphemy).

like keisuke, he also remembered akira's favorite solid flavor.

SHIKI

it's revealed that he tricks rin and kills all of his friends. he then kills rin in his route. he just likes killing people in general.

he basically kidnaps akira, does not help or support him, and is generally mean and abusive towards him.

he also gives akira a terrible piercing, sexually assualts him, pours alcholol on his open wound, and makes him shower in scalding hot water.

then, he leaves akira in his apartment to rot in isolation for days on end. but he's the only character with access to a shower!

he is also obsessed with killing nano, the ultimate soldier.

he needs to be dominant in all aspects of his life.

he wears a stupid gay outfit. he looks like if a vampire was stuck in a BDSM dungeon for 100 years.

in his second bad ending, he ends up becoming the dictator of japan and basically drives akira to insanity.

akira abandons his sense of justice and righteousness in order to serve as shiki's subordinate in his third ending, essentially erasing all of akira's previous virtuous values as an independant and rebellious person.

in his first ending, his hair looks wonderful, and he becomes a husk of his former self. i still felt a bit bad for him..

and... he's funny.

TAKERU

takeru tries to steal keisuke's tags.

he is participating in igra in order to gain enough money to support his family.

he also openly admitted to akira that he tricked igra participants into having sex with him, beat the shit out of them, and then stole their tags.

he tried to become strong without the use of rein due to his mother's addiction.

in the end, he becomes a drug addict.

then, he tries to kill akira while on rein.

keisuke then kills him.

he is stuck in a tragic flashback with his sister in his final moments.

he was technically breaking the rules of igra by stealing people’s tags without someone to witness them fighting.

all while wearing the craziest outfit i've ever seen.

ARBITRO

firstly, he enjoys torturing random igra participants for fun (including akira).

he is the distributor of rein and also runs a human trafficking scheme.

he's a spoilt rich nepobaby who abandons toshima the second the war starts, and no profit can be made from igra.

he drugs and locks akira in his stupid european torture dungeon. he brainwashes and assaults him.

he wears a stupid outfit and his interior design choices are tragic.

also, he pisses himself before getting decapitated.

GUNJI

gunji enjoys killing random people for fun.

he likes cats and dogs though! all animal people are nice.

he's weird in general, probably because he is blond.

he is an idiot.

KIRIWAR

firstly, he is a fossil, being the same age as motomi.

he almost kills motomi, but also enjoys killing random people in general.

he has a nice jacket, and is an idiot.

GWEN

gwen almost kills emma himself in order to take nano and akira into custody.

he is killed by emma.

he looks like phoenix wright! and he has a wonderful coat.

EMMA

firstly, she lies to akira about his mission. she does this to be able to take akira into custody to experiment on him, and gain the anti-nicole virus.

she then chooses to kill nano at the end in order to protect him from further experimentation.

in order to do this, she kills gwen, but after that, nano kills her.

overall, she has a wonderful coat, and she's very pretty!

NANO

nano supplies rein in order to avenge himself for being turned into the ultimate warrior.

he eventually gives rein to takeru which causes his death.

he also kills emma at the end in order to escape being experimented on.

he is technically the cause of keisuke's death, as the supplier of rein.
