From a star in the sky

You fell towards this Earth,

And danced.

A hundred illuminations waltzed

To form what you are

And I caught you

My arms burnt red hot with crimson

And into my flesh melted bubbles

Of pure song.

We squeezed tight together,

As if there was no more room

Left in this world

For anything but us.

But we began to dance,

The sound of our heartbeats

Melted into one song.

Our burning hot skin

Met with a frigid coolness

As we skipped across the boulevard.
